Portal 2 remains a model of pacing and puzzle teaching: it introduces ideas cleanly, explores them fully, then moves on before they go stale.
A first-person puzzle game with brilliant mechanical escalation, sharp comedy, and a still-excellent co-op campaign.

- Near-perfect puzzle pacing and onboarding
- Excellent writing without bloated runtime
- Runs well on almost any modern PC
Tradeoffs
- Not a long game if you skip co-op and community maps
- Visual tech is old even though the art direction holds up
